Triumph T150V Trident..Restoration project.

 Frame # T150V GH 05444. 1973 model . I got it with no paperwork whatsoever. Im led to believe that it was owned by and elderly gent in the uk who left it to his grandson here in ireland when he passed away. Hence the uk reg #. which would be a nice reg number for a 750cc bike. I have sent a V888 form to the DVLA to confirm (of not) that its the right reg #. I should know this info in the next few days and will update the listing when i know for sure. There is no engine # stamped on it for some unknown reason. If anyone has any info as to why there is no number stamped . please let me know.  Has been off the road for 15 to 20 years. I cleaned the carbs. changed the oil and plugs. Checked then reset the boyer ignition timing. resh fuel . onnected up a battery and started 2nd kick (no choke). Engine seems decent enough tho does smoke a bit . ll the gears engage and clutch works tho drags a little. Most of the chrome has surface rust and pitting and would need rechroming tho all is solid and usable. I gave the front mudguard a quick clean and if came up ok. I left the engin as it was so as to show it was'nt covered in oil and is  clean considering. Will just need the casing  cleaned polished. Bike is in origional unrestored condition tho some stainless parts have been fitted ie . Headlight brackets. ear chainguard. ront and rear wheel spokes. op fork nuts. xhaust hangers. Rear brake plate. rod and stay. nd other bits and pieces. see pics. Switch gear seems to work and i have had the indicators and rear light/brake light working. Stuff i know will need replacing. stantions and seals. hocks and front brake sorting. All said please be aware thats this is a bike in need of restoration with no guarantee given or implied. It is in no way roadworthy. How much you do to it is up to you. ho its a great starting point. The bike is here in Dundalk Ireland  (Midway between Dublin and Belfast)  and its up to the buyer to organise its collection tho i will help in anyway i can.
