The Adventure bike market is a very popular one and as a result sees a wealth of machines on offer in all sizes and engine configurations from twin cylinders to triples and fours with even the odd single still to be found. The Triumph Tiger first appeared in the early 1990's and featured the British firms now trademark 3 cylinder engine. In these early models it was an 885cc capacity and had carburettors. In 1999 an all new Tiger was launched which featured an all new chassis and bodywork as well as an all new engine which whilst retaining the 885cc capacity now featured fuel injection. For 2001 the engine grew to 955cc and then in 2005 another all new Tiger was launched which again featured a larger engine. now 1050cc. and a complete restyle which saw a much more road orientated focus as most riders enjoy the rugged off road look but rarely. if ever. actually ride off road. For sale here we have a great looking 1050 Tiger in Phantom Black featuring optional ABS braking.
