1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R in a TR6R frame. Engine is a DU# and frame is a AD #. I have owned and ridden this bike since 1992. I started out as a chopper and about two yours ago I started changing it back over to a swing arm. It ran fine when I took it off the road. Here's a brief history. The cases were split to clean the sludge trap and under size the crank . 010 in about 1995. It was bored . 020 over and new Hepolite pistons were installed around 1998. The head was done around 2004 and the exhaust spigots were fixed. Somewhere around 2008 the clutch basket and transmission main shaft were done. That wasn't the first time the clutch was messed with along with a new stator at some point. I always ran it with points and no battery. Here a description of what the winning bidder gets. The frame. triple trees. swing arm and rear hub are powder coated. rear loop needs to be done. It has a T140 front end that had the fork covers modified to accept the Tommesilli clip ons (cut down and chromed). The engine plates are Clubman Racing. The Tarozzi rear sets need to be fitted. The rear wheel is a Borrani with stainless spokes by Buchannan's with a new Dunlop tire. The duel disk lower leg is new and has all the parts needed to complete it. Like seals. studs end cap ect. you will still need the second brake and lines. No seat or fender. Included but not pictured are things like coils. carbs. nuts and bolts (some stainless). grips. mounting stuff for the battery box and side covers. Some stuff is in bags from Rabers and has part numbers. The chrome tank worked fine for the chopper but needs some attention to be perfect it has a couple dents and one of the mounting holes has been welded and needs t be taped. The engine has the typical chain blowout that is ugly but a donor case is included for repair. This a 45 year old project so ask all the question you want before bidding. Winner is responsible for shipping and paypal fees. I will help load. I will accept cash in person or paypal only. 500. 00 paypal deposit due with in 48 hours of end of auction.
