Here is my 1974 Trident T150V. nbsp; Unrestored bike in excellent condition. I ride this bike regularly and needs nothing in terms of mechanical attention for you to ride and enjoy. Having said that. it does have older Avon Venom tires that have excellent tread but some age cracks are appearing on the side wall so you may want to consider new tires. With a generous tickle of each of the 3 Amal Carbs it will typically cold start with 2-3 kicks. It handles like any classic Triumph and the accleration of this triple always produces in me the same response: amazement and a wide grin! Oil leakeage is very minimal. weeps a bit of oil from the left rear pushrod cover and left front rocker box - I have a picture that shows typical oil leak after a ride. Does not burn any oil and spark plug color is normal appearing light gray across all 3 cylinders. As far as stopping. evenly using front disc and rear brake together it stops well for being such an old gal. Tachometer. speedometer. clutch. horn. lights. turn signals. high/low beam all work well. I have had this bike for 3 seasons and it has never required any special mechanical attention. I believe the odometer to be correct mileage with 24. 02 miles. I do have some documentation from previous owners and I believe I'm the thrird owner. The previous owner indicated that he had engine work done including new valves/guides. pistons/rings and rebore. I don't have paperwork to verify. but I do have a box of spare parts that include all of these original items and I'm quite certain that indeed this engine work had been done. but I'm not sure how many miles ago the work was completed. The gas tank and side covers have been repainted but the rest of the bike remains original. The exhaust sounds terrific but the mufflers have scrapes and a wear spot and are not as shiney as I'd expect but certainly match the condition of the bike. The seat is also original and has a small tear on the left side as well as around the front - the latch on the seat base is broken but does not affect opening or closing the seat. Lastly the rear wheel rim has a portion where the chrome has flaked off -- because there is no pitting on the wheel rims I think it was simply poor prep when the rim was plated for Jones 40 years ago -- both front and rear rims are original to the bike. Chrome on the fenders is very good. engines cases are polished. no broken engine fins. I can't think of anything else except to say the bike is a fine example of a 74 Trident. a pleasure to ride and listed with a fair reserve.
