Triumph Sprint ST 955iFull Triumph Panniers (Colour matched)Brand new Tyres/Exhaust/ServiceHello and welcome to my auction for my Triumph Sprint st 955i. I have had this bike for only a short time as I returned from Australia in May. I have wanted one of these bikes for a long time but I recently made the decision to go to Asia for 6 months of Travelling so i need to sell to fund my air tickets. I have put a heck of alot of time and money into making this bike perfect for me in every way so someone will end up with a bargain bike set for years of fault free touring. I bought this superb bike after reading many reviews on Sport Tourers and this one came out at the top of its class. These Triumphs really are the best of both worlds. they're extremely comfortable on longer journeys and are built for cruising speeds of 80-90 mph with ease. This combined with an incredible sports design and performance makes this bike a true pleasure to ride anywhere. After searching for a good example of found this one and had to go for it. Don't let the mileage of 45k put you off as these bikes go for 100k+ with the correct scheduled maintenance and this is no exception having being maintain by myself and previous owners regardless of cost. I bought it with 42K on the clock. since then I have covered 3000 Faultless Joyful miles. The chap from whom I bought her was a huge bike and car enthusiast. just like myself. and he had several bike and race cars in his possession. so I knew he had respectfully cared for this bike. He owned the bike for 5 years before reluctantly handing it over to me. The owner previous to him for 11 years. Despite him assuring me it was serviced as scheduled at the correct intervals I went ahead and gave it a full major service anyway (just for my peace of mind. I'm a bit pedantic like that and like to know its been done properly. I was Vehicle mechanic in the Army by the way so I confidently know my way around a machine). Ill run the list of the bikes features. what works and what doesn't. I will be brutally honest as I have sold many cars and bikes over the years and I know that honesty goes along way especially when purchasing through eBay or such auction sites :-)Features as Follows:Recent Full Major Service including:- K&N Air filter- K&N Oil Filter- Full High Spec Oil Change- Fuel Filter Change- New Iridium Spark PlugsAll Fitted by myself I have pics and receipts to prove. In June (previous owner) 2013 Bike Had:- New Chain + Sprokets- New Brake Fluid Change comes with spare Pads but not required yet. - New Battery- Throttle bodies Balanced (pic 11)Full Triumph PanniersDaytona Heated Grips (stopped working 2 weeks ago trying to resolve before auction ends)New (Fuel) Exhaust with removable Baffle (sounds excellent without & nice and quiet with the baffle fitted. The old Exhaust was just too horrible for me both cosmetically and the noise) £100 + £30 for the relevant Map uploaded to the ECU by Strastone Triumph Leicester (Receipt included)I purchased a Triumph seat Cowl to make the rear of the bike aesthetically pleasing when the box and grab rail aren't in use although I have only had it fitted for 1 week as I like to have the rear box on most of the time. £50I had the Valve Clearances done 2 days ago £150 receipt to prove. Brand New Tyres less than 2 months ago only approx 600miles on those (Very Nice Michelin Pilot Powers £200. 00 Loads of documents. Mot's Service History V5 Present and in my name. Datatool Alarm and Immobilizer All Triumph books from original date of purchase and the toolkit. Haynes Manual £20I will add that the left pannier does need a single rivet replacing on a fixing for it to sit securely as the bike unfortunately fell over whilst still on a cobble driveway 3 days after I bought her. This only caused light scratching to the pannier box the rest of the bike held up superbly. I nearly cried lolThe bike has some usual wear and tear marks some scuffs and scratches around the bodywork but nothing to detract from the overall amazing appearance of this triumph. NO rust or paint imperfections. Obviously no mechanical issues or excess wear and tear. The side panniers are currently removed as is the plastic framework for them as I only had use for the single Rear larger box which accommodates 2 helmets plus more. Bike will come with the Standard exhaust . Screen. Panniers everything to enable this to be taken back to complete standard within a couple of hours. The cowl looks superb too if you wish to fit it. nbsp;alternatively you could sell it for around £50. The bike has never failed me and runs faultlessly hot and cold. I am a huge mechanical enthusiast and have always treated my vehicles with utmost respect. I've run the bike on 97 octane fuel and recently replaced the coolant with a good mix for winter riding. The prospective buyer will not be disappointed and this bike needs to be seen to be appreciated. I purchased it for £1600 and have put around £700 into her over since may so this bike is set for the next 10-20. 00 miles fault free touring. I am not expecting to receive my money back at all as I have spent a lot getting it to the way I wanted unaware I was going to go travelling again. I would like the bike to go to a good home where someone will get many years of enjoyment from her. I have set my reserve price reasonably in my eyes and i'm open to sensible o f f e r s. Usual eBay spiel. No tyre kickers or timewasters please. Cash on collection preferred written receipt can be given. I'm Happy and encourage test rides although correct insurance and funds need to be provided prior. I will happily take someone on the back if the wish to see bike in action.
