www. a28classics. co. ukWe bought this bike from a dealer in California. It runs and rides well. starting easily and is in good overall condition with good chrome and no rust. We have registered the bike in the UK. put it through its MOT and taxed it. nbsp;and it is now ready to ride. Those who know these bikes well will have spotted that the paint has been redone at some stage to resemble an early Bonneville. The headlight nacelle also has been replaced with a Bonneville headlight shell and the speedometer has been removed from the nacelle and fixed to the headstock. We understand that these modifications were quite common in period. We have serviced the bike and put on a new rear tyre in the last few weeks. Although it is not a matching numbers bike. the frame and engine are both from 1957. Overall it is a good-looking period bike that is a pleasure to ride.
