Original 1956 Triumph Tiger Cub (200cc)

Up for sale is a recent "Garage Find" 1956 Triumph Tiger Cub T20. These bikes were modeled after their big brother the Triumph Bonneville and nick named the "Baby Bonnie". These early Cubs are rare and hard to find in the US especially as a complete rust free and Running motorcycle. This one is complete and 95% original including the California Black license plate. It runs and shifts surprisingly well for a 58 year old bike! Also. the frame and engine numbers are matching. again rare as engine swaps from later models were very common. The Triumph T20 Tiger Cubs were built from 1954 and ceased production in 1968 but parts are readly available both locally and from the UK. After I purchased this Cub I performed a complete inspection by dissembling it down to the bare frame and re-assembling it piece by piece to make sure all the parts ( including a box of new and used parts) were original and correctly installed. A new clutch was installed. the Amal Carb was rebuilt. and all fluids were changed. The electrical wiring was sorted including installation of an electronic ignition system. The fuel tank is in exceptional condition with the original badges and no Dents! It has a clear recent California title and a current DMV Non-op. This is the perfect Triumph Cub for a complete restoration or to just ride and show on the weekends.  You can pick the bike up or I can help with trucking arrangements as I do not offer shipping.
