2006 Triumph Speed four 4 Mad Max

Speed Four This build started off with needing a direction I scored a nice speed four from an insurance auction for a decent price. But it was run of the mill. no attitude. All I wanted was to make it look meaner move faster and stop quicker. First step was . to remove all those useless factory plastics. Taking the front fairing off and letting the two bug eye headlights hang out in front all alone was the first thing to do. Then we removed the clip on bars and add a set of 1 1/8 vortex aluminum motocross bars changed the riding position as well as the altitude of the front end. After that we took off the long air intake and added a set of velocity stacks off a 1960?ˆ™s Amal carbs to bring in some fresh air. No paint here as we sand blasted the tank to bare metal and cleared over it with some vintage triumph logo decals. We removed all the side fairings around the seat. but it wasn?ˆ™t stripped down enough for me. Then we converted it to a single seat with the help of a sawzall. who needs a passenger when you do the ton! That Jardine exhaust got cut down by a third with the same saw. The aluminum side tank replaced the plastic coolant overflow. We added the twin taillight with integrated turn sings aluminum levers and side panels to complete the minimalist stripped down look. A DID chain Dunlop tires K&N filter motion pro cables. vortex bars and Jardine exhaust all help put the power to the pavement. This bike starts and runs great it stops on a dime shifts through all the gears and handles amazing. it turns heads everywher it goes and always draws a crowd. This is a great bike it has a rebuilt title as the bike was purchased from an insurance auction. It is registered insured and inspected.
