Welcome to the sale of my Triumph Tiger 955i 2003. 53 plate.

 

   This bike is in excellent condition for its age. a low mileage. at 32. 61 miles. example which its condition is reflected in the pictures. I am a mature rider who has owned the bike for just over 18 months now. also having known the bike previous to my purchase. and has been garaged throughout my ownership.

   It was bought purposely to serve a Spain / Portugal / France touring holiday for me and my wife and anyone reading this will know how good the reports are on this bike and why I chose it. It did the trip with ease and was really comfortable so we decided to keep it and have a second trip this year. which again was trouble free. The bike rides and handles superbly and other than the two trips has only been out on sunny days. seeing rain only when I've been caught out. It would quite happily be at home setting off on another big trip. munching miles. nbsp;or as a commuter being such a flexible. do anything bike.

   Now for the facts.

    The bike is Taxed until Jan 15. nbsp;M. o. t'd until August 2015 and I have old M. o. t's back to 2008.  Stamped Service history up to 16. 00 miles.   Owners Manuel and Owners Sevice Manuel     7 stamps in all.

    Service parts in the last two years:

New Plugs K&N Air Filter 100. 00 mile 3 x Oil and Filter change. using Silkolene Comp 4 Valve clearances checked before last trip (27. 00 ) Brake Fluid changed Front and Back Clutch cable changed before last trip ( one broken strand ) Brake caliper seals Front and Back Brake Pads Front and Back Fuel Filter Fuel Pipe connector Two sets of tyres. Michelin Anakee 2's and presently Anakee 3's which still have plenty of life in them New Battery 26. 08. 13 Coolant . 5 year Red Chain  Sprockets. Front and Rear (standard )

   Add to this the extra's that are fitted:

    All in all an excellent bike its condition commented on whenever I stop. nbsp;with nearly every concievable extra fitted. which are really hard to come by now but there are a couple of things wrong. The offside tank stickers are bubbled. not the paint as can be seen in the pictures. There are some age related marks / scratches on the bike and a few on the Top Box and Panniers but these are minimal and too small to pick up with the camera.   The fuel guage does not work . The fuel guage fault and tank bubbling are common Triumph faults of which neither have bothered me. The bike does 40+ to the gallon so anything after 160 miles I refill and trip the clock and its never caused me any issues. The bubbling on the stickers appeared on  the first trip to Spain and I can only put it down to being caused by the heat. Again its never bothered myself and its never worsened. nbsp;but I've priced the bike accordingly.

I will not allow test rides unless I have the full asking price in my hands and if you bin it you win it ! At the same time I would be more than willing to take any genuine purchasers out. I wouldn't wait as I'm confident first interested party to see will buy.
