Triumph 500 Motorcycle-  probably the last built by Roy Davis with a Daytona TR5 Tony Burgess Nickel Frame pre-65

A bike that looks so beautiful and sounds so mean you wonder what happened to the British motorcycle industry.  

British Bike building at its best!  A bike that was so good looking I had it in my office for almost twenty years. but now serviced . running again and ready to go. as my motorcycle collection is being sold off .

A beautiful example of a Triumph Daytona TR5 .  

 Tony Burgess Nickel Frame in  (T45 Tubing) . A powerful Daytona Engine No T 100 S 24273 

Four valve head . Race Cams  Close Ratio box  Heavy duty Race clutch: Special ignition Titanium everything.

Magnesium wheel hubs. Ceriani forks 

Rebuilt late 1998 and then tested on Irish beach . but span the rear wheel too much on the sand.    Scrutineering stickers from Mortimer Classic 1999 and Marche and Lille. Results unknown .   It remained unused as its rider (Jim Lyons) had a serious crash ( not on it) retiring shortly thereafter 

We also have  his  racing BSA Gold star that I had seen competing in the pre 65 classic. ex Nutley who was sponsored by Roy in the 1965 Championship.

Unique pieces of British Motorcycling history at a reasonable price. nbsp; not an auction room.   By with confidence. check my feedback. with any inspection. This machine is currently in central London
