Triumph Bonneville T-120-RV 1971

 Here is a very clean 1971 Bonneville T-120-RV 650. I bought this bike about 75% put together and it was a barn find from Kentucky. Yes it is a 5 speed and a 1971.   When I bought this it was painted and cleaned and I was told the carbs were rebuilt. new leaf spring shifter installed and new clutch plates. and tires but it needed re-wired.   I have replaced the main wire harness and the connecting headlight harness and put new coils. condensers. and solid state rectifier. new petcocks and fuel lines. new filters. I have a new boyer ignition that I have not installed. The bike has been static timed and starts every first or second time kicked. It runs. shifts. and has the feel of a new bike as far as the handling and  the ride.  I think it will run a lot better with the new solid state ignition and some fine tuning of the carbs. I have only put a couple of hundred miles on it since I got it running. I know it will need a new drive sprocket seal as it leaks when it is on the side stand but not real bad yet.  I do not have the turn signals but it is wired for them and the tail light should be the gargoyle style but the one on it is older. All numbers match and it would not take much to be completely restored. I have new knee pads for it  and the parts and repair manuals and some other misc. parts that come with it. This is one of about 250 made and is the first year of oil in frame. the frame is beefy and in perfect shape. nbsp; about 3 inches taller than other triumphs. I think it is the last year for the 650 Bonneville also. Buyer is responsible for shipping and bike is sold as is. If you have any questions please ask.
