This very rare and much sought after 1974 Triumph T150V 750 Trident with perfect matching numbers has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 12395 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the mirrors. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat & fuel in the tank is stale but not nasty & treacle. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. I can't comment as to what is rite or wrong ?ˆ“ You experts know what you're looking at. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. good hubs. brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank & side panels are great - tank is clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Seat is in very good condition throughout. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning.

The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We have not got the American Title (Registration Document). we have only got the certificates from Customs & Excise to prove we have paid VAT & duty. these will be provided with the bike with the official V55/5 forms for 1st registration application.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. Phone North Leicester Motorcycles on 01530 263381 with the frame & engine Numbers. for a small fee they will send you a letter confirming the age.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Post this to the DVLA who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will post you your age related registration number.
