Up for Auction is a '67 TT Special from the Sullivan collection. No expense spared. ground up restoration. From the sludge tube up. Engine has all new bearings. seals. and gaskets. NOS STD 11:1 pistons. Head has new valves and springs. Transmission was gone through and inspected for wear. All new roller bearings installed. Primary side has new clutch plates and Renolds chain. Five wire stator. NOS Lucas wire harness. NOS Lucas ET coils. Replated Dunlop rims. Tachometer rebuilt by Nisonger. Frame and all parts in powder coat. Oil tank. side cover. and steering damper are painted. All chrome has been replated except for header pipes. All hardware was sent out for cadmium plating. This is not a garage queen as some have suggested. It is a running Triumph that uses HIGH OCTANE FUEL ONLY. It has five miles on it. Can you ride it? Sure. you can do what ever you want with it. Should you? That is up to you. It is more like a living room queen. A piece of art work. A running bike that should be kept as is to retain its value. We take pride in our work and don't like people assuming we cut corners or only build bikes to look at. I have sold over 50 bikes from the collection. Half of the buyers want to ride their new Triumphs. We have no problem with getting them ready for them to ride. As far as installing a battery and adding the oils for them. Starting it and tuning the bike for riding. The other half have added them to their collections. knowing that if they choose to start them in the future they will run and run well.
