Triumph Legend

Here I have for sale a Triumph legend with a few extras.

I bought the bike a few years ago now from one of my local shops. it came with the engine dress up kit as you can see from the chrome covers. a sissy bar and leather saddle bags with all the fixings all original Triumph. they are not fitted in the photo's but are included in the sale.   I have hardley used it in all the time I have had it hense the low milage just under 15000.   It is a nice tidy bike. there are a few marks here and there and the mirror arms are becoming a bit pitted. a bit of polishing and they will still come up to a fairly good standard.

I have had fitted since owning. a different sprocket set to alter the gearing. it now cruises at higher speeds at lower revs but still has plenty of torque so pulls well low down. this is a common alteration to the legends. Also I have had the starter moded due to the common bolt snapping. this is a common problem but no need to worry now.

The tyres are good. there were no adviseries on last MOT. which I am sure was Aug but can't lay my hands on it right now. I will get a re print if I have to.   As it is now October the Tax is not an issue though it did have it on until the end of the year.

I don't expect a high inflated price for the bike. I am aware they are becoming quiet saught after and a bit of a classic. this would be why some others listed have been silly money. did see one listed for 2k with a knackered engine.   I just need to sell as we have 2 cars both of which are now knackered so needs must.   My Dad did want it but he is not in a position to purchase it and I would have to let it go very cheap. so hard luck Dad sorry.

Just noticed how much a sissy bar is fetching on here. over £200 already. I have one exactly the same included. might of been an oversight on my part. I have also found the MOT and it was July with no issues.   The price has very nearly hit the reserve so please no more questions on cash pricing. /p>
