1995 TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE ORANGE

Here is my Mk1 Triumph Speed Triple. I've owned it since 09/09/2006 and it's had 4 previous owners.

It's a chance to buy a rare MK1 speed triple. which have always been very sort after. mine is in bright Fireball Orange (most seem to be the more common black). This is the 6 speed version. it starts and rides well. The bike is in good overall condition but please bear in mind this is a 19 year old bike. so there will be some wear & the odd mark here & there. This speed triple is completely standard. everything from the hand grips to the exhaust. unmolested versions are getting harder to find as most seem to have various aftermarket replacement parts fitted.

It comes with a full MOT exp 21/11/2015 and is taxed until the end of May 2015. current mileage is 24860. I've got all the original MOTs to verify the mileage. The photos show the condition but I think the bike looks even better in the flesh so I would highly recommend viewing before you bid/offer.

The front forks and the rear shock (original) have both been overhauled by Brook Suspension in the last couple of years helping to keep the bike in standard trim. It was serviced last year using Splitfire sparkplugs. K&N oil and air filter (using original airbox) and Millers fully synthetic engine oil.

The bad bits: there's a small scratch on the front fender (shown in photo) and it has the usual tacho issues. it works most of the time but sometimes seems to take a few seconds to wake up!

I've listed the bike with a buy it now plus best offer. if you make an offer I've got 48 hrs to accept or decline. I won't accept offers until you view the bike - basically only make an offer if you can get to view the bike inside the 48 hrs. I'm based in Leeds. around 2 miles from junction 30 M62 and 2miles from junction 44 on the M1 - easy to find from either.

It will come with 2 keys. owner's handbook and if the price is right (asking price or very near) I'll also include the centre stand. Haynes manual. 3 new spark plugs and an optimate battery charger plus a spare tacho (not checked).
