Triumph Bonneville T140E 1979 Barn find.

Triumph Bonneville T140E 1979. I am selling this as a barn find even though it runs and rides well. When I bought it on the 30. 05. 1009. it had been in a garage for 16 years. I re commissioned it and rode it until August 2012. It has been in my garage ever since. I have washed it and got it running ready to sell but this bike will require some TLC. It had Japanese switch gear and master cylinder fitted but the standard stuff comes with it. It has a good Battery and all the lights and indicators work. The centre stand is not fitted as it broke. the broken one goes with the bike but I don't think its fixable. It has almost new Avon Roadmasters fitted. It has no MOT. The paint is poor and the chrome pitted but this is a good. honest bike with I believe the original milage of 17320. The only non standard bits I can see ( apart from the switch gear ) are the silencers and the seat ( looks like a Norman Hyde type ) I have some old MOTs and Tax discs. I think I have the standard US bars somewhere too. This would make a great restoration or ride it as it is. Please ask any questions and I would recommend you come and have a look at it as this is not a show winning bike and I want you to know what you are getting before you collect it. The buyer pays ??200 on PayPal then the rest cash on collection. Im starting the bidding at ??2400 but there is no reserve. Selling because I have too many bikes and need the room.

I have now found the US Handlebars so they will go with it. I also forgot to mention that it has Pazon ignition which is brilliant.
