This is a very rare find. First recorded keeper in 1959 was the reigning World Champion of the day. John Surtees. This is clearly displayed on the original RF60 Log Book. It then passed through a couple of owners until the early 1980's. where it remained in single ownership since then. She comes with the original RF60. V5 and V5C. Registration number is a good one 344 EKO and is transferable and has been valued at 1. 00. Engine has been totally rebuilt by the previous owner with many new parts. Generally in very good original condition but to finish. (as far as I can see) will require:- right hand side fork shroud missing - wheel rims needs rechroming/replaced - paint to shroud. nacelle - repairs to paint on right hand side petrol tank and bottom of front mudguard - fettling including refitting wiring harness. battery. horn. front foot pegs etc. Engine and frame numbers match - H7637. A great (and relatively simple) winter project with a unique and fascinating history linking back to one of the greatest icons in British racing history. Always consider a part exchange for other British Bike.
