Triumph Thunderbird and sidecar

For sale is a 1964 Triumph Thunderbird combination. It is in good overall condition and runs well with no knocks or rattles. It is an older restoration.  The sidecar is a Merlin Steib replica which is in good condition. The wheels are 16 inch with a twin leading shoe front brake which works extremely well. The chrome on the wheels is a little tarnished but otherwise they are in reasonable order. As the bike has been used. there a few small scratches and scuffs on the paint but overall its very tidy . There is a small amount of bubbling on the tank around the left petrol tap where there has been a  leak at some point. For anyone who can paint. its an easy fix. The speedo will need a refurb. Its a magnetic unit and the needle swings around a bit.  It has had a recent replacement alternator. It runs a 12 volt system with electronic ignition. It starts easily and runs very well. No apparent leaks or issues. It is Mot'd and has a historic free tax disc.  It has been stored in a dry garage at all times. is never taken out in wet weather and always attracts interest wherever it goes. It handles well and is great fun to ride.  If you want any further info or want to see it. then contact me through the usual channels. It is in North Norfolk. It is advertised elsewhere so may be removed from Ebay if sold. Please note. you bid to buy not to haggle. If you want to ride it. then pay for it first. I have set a reasonable reserve.  Payment on point of sale by bank transfer or cash . it can only be removed when payment is cleared. . and please. no tyre kickers or dreamers. Can be ridden away if desired. I will not deliver.
