Streetfighter Race Bike / Track Bike, Road Bike, Triumph KTM Hybrid,

KTriuMph Streetfighter. For sale is our 2014 Thundersport GB Championship winning streetfighter.  The bike is a custom build. built from a 2009 KTM Superduke 990 Black edition & Triumph engine to a very high standard. This bike has also been featured in Streetfighter magazine and is also Bike of the Month in this month’s (January 2015) Performance Bikes magazine and has featured in various news papers throughout the last seasons racing.  For the ThundersportGB Street fighter class ‘B’ championship the engine was restricted to 97. 3bhp. to meet the regulations of that class (100bhp). this was achieved through re flashing the ECU at BSD in Peterborough. Mark at BSD has flattened off the power at the top end of the power curve by simply over fuelling it. The engine still makes the standard power curve and torque curve until it reaches 97. 3bhp where it then flattens off (see Dyno run print out).   If you want more power you can simply just have the ECU re flashed to standard. While I'm on the subject of the ECU. I should inform you it is a factory Triumph race ECU. meaning you can run two maps. a dry and wet map. this wasn't used by the team this year as we were restricted to 100bhp and didn’t need to soften the power delivery. The KTM frame has been modified as you can see from the photos to accept the Triumph engine. the sub frame is custom designed and built by the team. The fuel tank is from a Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster Custom and modified to take the Triumph fuel pump and more fuel. The seat unit is an aftermarket unit designed on a Harley Davidson flat tracker.  The build and the all the modification have been undertaken to high standards by the team and professionals. During the winter of 2013/2014 the bike was completely stripped down to the last nut and bolt. the frame was checked on a Motor Liner jig and new sub frames were designed and manufactured. The forks and shock were taken to Brooks Suspension in Bradford where they were overhauled. the standard springs were retained in the forks but heavier 9. 5 springs are available. the rear shock was completely stripped. the piston in the oil reservoir was changed for a bladder conversation and the shock was completely overhauled. Brook Suspension helped with the set up throughout the season and what we have now is a bike that stops on sixpence and holds a line like a dream.  The frame and subframe were shot blasted and powdered coated. not painted. the tank and remaining parts were painted by Emley re finishers to very high standard. no expense has been spared when building this bike. We wouldn't be racing the bike if it wasn't built to the highest standard!! If you know the RS Racing team from the ThundersportGB paddock you will understand what I mean. You will also be interested to know that the bike has a V5 so can go on the road on day time MOT. it has been ridden on the road previously. So your options are. race the best looking and most competitive streetfighter on the grid or have the coolest bike on the road. Which will you chose? The bike is in excellent condition. the last photograph was taken at the last round of the season at Mallory Park and as you can see it is in the same condition as the first photographs at the start of the season. The bike has not been crashed or dropped since the rebuild at the end of 2013 season hence it's spot on and ready to go.  SPECIFICATION:KTM Marchesini 5 spoke wheels (fitted with Dunlop finest slicks). 320mm diameter floating disc’s. Custom nose cone. Triumph Street Triple Dash. KTM SuperDuke 990 Black Edition White Power forks. the stanchions are nitrided black. KTM SuperDuke 990 Black Edition Brembo 4 pot calipers. Standard  internal fork springs with heavier springs available (9. 5). Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster Custom tank (modified). KTM SuperDuke 990 Black Edition frame (modified). KTM SuperDuke 990 Black Edition running gear. KTM SuperDuke 990 Black Edition White Power rear suspension (reservoir piston changed to bladder) including 4 different spring weights (new and unused).  Race ECU. Stock Triumph Daytona 675 engine. Triumph Daytona 675 race belly Pan. (modified by us to give it more strength). One off Arrow race exhaust system (suffered a bit of crash damage but works fine). needs a repack.  Translogic quick shifter with Quickset-Adjuster (optional on the fly adjuster)Alternator and Clutch covers (modified with an additional wear plate). Brembo rear master cylinder and caliper. TRW carbons pads front and rear brakes. 320 chain & sprocket conversion. KTM 990 radiator. Rears 47 to 50 (some new). The sprockets are custom made by Talon to fit the KTM wheel @approx ?30 each. Clutch platesThere is no air box. open throttle bodies but the inlets have custom made protectors on them. The attention to detail is superb and there are lots of little touches to improve the performance and looks of the machine. The bike has been maintained to the highest standard throughout the season. no expense has been spared. if the bike needs anything it gets it. You will also get full data that we have collected from 2 years racing this bike. this includes sprockets used in practice. qualifying and races. as well s the the mount of fuel used and suspension settings etc. tc. tc. You wouldn't normally get this valuable information when buying another race bike but as there isn't another one like it the data is only relevant to this bike and we want to see it competitive again next year.  You also get the jpeg data for the name KTriuMph logo stickers. the face book page and anything else we can muster together. In summary you can either put the bike on the road and you will turn heads everywhere you go. Track day it and be the centre of attention at every track you turn up at. it draws people to it where ever we have been. Or race the most competitive B class street fighter out there. The exhaust needs a repack as it was getting noisy towards the end of the season and this will also help with 2bhp it needs to lose to meet the class limit for 2015.
