You are viewing my Piaggio Vespa Cosa 200cc which I bought late last year with a view to using it to commute to work.   Needless to say I have not got round to sorting it and I have just acquired another project so reluctantly it has to go.

It caught my eye because of the rare original. white colour which there were very few imported into the UK and I have not seen another for sale.   It is described as white on the V5.

When I got the Cosa I changed the automatic choke (a common fault) and it started on the button with no rattles or excessive noise.   All of the gears can be selected easily and everything electrical works.   It shows 9367 miles which appears to be correct but there is no paperwork with the scooter other than the V5.   It was first registered new in the UK in April 1991 (H reg)  and the VIN and chassis numbers match those on the V5.  

It is in very good condition for its age with only light rusting to some areas and the rest of the metalwork is straight and good quality.   Obviously the side panels and undertray have been replaced at some point by a previous owner.

The Cosa will need re-commissioning. an MOT and taxing as it is currently shown as SORN.   The only thing that I can see that it needs is a new front brake cable and repainting or you could use it as is.   All of the parts are still available.   I am the legal owner and keeper and I have two identical keys that fit all of the locks.
