1976 PIAGGIO VESPA PRIMAVERA WHITE

This vespa. manufactured in 1976.  has been in the family since 1978. It is NOT a fake / badly put together lookalike from Vietnam: it was born in Milan. Italy. and stayed there until 2011 when I imported it. It comes with its original Milano registration plate and original Italian Registration document showing the two previous owners. I halso have all import / transport / DVLA uk registration application documents to prove its origin. The scooter has not been "radiated" in Italy. so if you desire returning it to its original italian registration you can. I have been riding it as is for a while and now it has undergone full restauration as follows (Highlights only. - come to see it to appreciate!):New floorpan (correct steel pressing with all box sections. spotwelded and filled as original manufacturing)New professional paint strip and resprayNew wiring loom including all internal high temperature wiring to stator plate (original 6V system retained - ignore who tells you that it isn't good: they probably never understood that you need to use 6V lamps. horn. etc). New ignition coil. spark plug. cooling cowl. etc etc.  New old Piaggio stock headlight. rear light. seat. horn. New switchgear with original chrome cover. New cables and sleevees throughout. Fully refurbished original  19-19 Dellorto carburettor with correct jets. 2% oil mixing jug. New old stock clutch. suspension springs. piston rings. oil seals. bearings. brake shoes etc etc (usual work required to give new life to mechanical system). New lock cylinders and keys/spare keys for steering. seat. helmet holder. left storage and right engine access. New floorboards. and centre mat on original stainless rails. Original maintenance booklet. Other bits and pieces to complete (you can see all parts receipts). Original. unmolested. correctly restored Primaveras are becoming increasingly rare. This one would look good in a luxury retail store display. or around Sunday markets. or as a daily town commute. It is fast and agile unlike large frame vintage vespas. and now has a new lease of life. Grab a safe investment which is fun to ride and a joy to look at / look after.
