Piaggio Vespa ET-4 125This is Piaggio/Vespa's classic styled ET-4. bike parks in London are full of them. they are about the only scooter to have the looks and the heritage to match. like a 2 wheel Fiat 500 :) They also happen to be a really good town bike. unlike most scooters. these have a metal body/chassis like a car and have a solid. planted feel when ridden. The bike uses Piaggio's tried and tested air cooled 4 stroke motor. that's reliable and quick enough to beat the traffic. It has a rack to take a topbox and the comfy dual seat has a pull-out bag hook and big storage bay underneath (see last pic) aswell as a big glove box. This bike has had one previous owner and covered 15K miles. it starts on the button or with the kickstart. it ticks over smoothly and pulls well. running and riding fine. it has good tyres and the electrics function as they should (lights. hooter etc) and it has a year's MOT. The owner did use it for commuting and as such it has gained a few marks along the way. all low speed side scuffs from falling over. the floorboard plastic has some cracks/chipped bits and the metal body has some scratches and dimples on both sides. as it is metal bodywork it can be cosmetically repaired like a car and have been told that Halfords can supply the correct paint/colour for Vespas. to be fair. it doesn't look that bad in the flesh. A decent example of an ET-4 that's not in perfect condition but not bad. runs and rides fine and with a year's MOT. ideal for learner riders aged 17+. it comes with the V5 logbook. couple of old MOTs and it's own 'Tucono' rider/leg cover (see pic)
