2003 VESPA PX 200 E BLACK

It is breaking my heart but I have made the decision to sell my pride and joy. This year I have managed to get out on my scooter three times for a quick run round the countryside where I live. Also my age tells me its time to give it up. My PX200E is probably one of the nicest scooters outside a showroom condition wise and is totally original apart from I fitted a Sito Plus exhaust of original specification. I bought it about 4 years ago after it had been dry stored in the previous owners garage for 5 years. They fitted a new battery and it started first time. It only had 500 genuine kilometers on the clock when I bought it and has only 3989 genuine kilometers on it now. I had a couple of rear tyre punctures on it (managed to bring it to a safe stop so no damage) and decided to fit two quality SIP tubeless alloys for safety reasons. The scooter has never seen a single drop of rain or been ridden on a wet road and looks in parts as if it is still brand new. There is a small area on the rear of the front mudguard that has been retouched for some reason and I can supply a photo of this if required. It always has admiring glances when I do take the opportunity to take it out. Finished off with whitewall tyres. front windshield. stainless front and rear racks with a chrome spare on the rear rack and another steel spare under the n/s cover. It has front lamps as well just to give it an extra nice look and I changed the horrible original light brown seat for a genuine charcoal black seat to finish the look. The decals can be removed easily with hot water however the "ROAD RUNNER" decal on the n/s is uniquely designed by me and made specially. so no other scooter has that decal. I can take better photos if required. but can also be removed easily. I will be just as happy if it doesnt sell although my Wife will think differently as she says I am too old now and worries that I will come a cropper one day. Thats about all I can say except the scooter needs someone a lot younger who will give it some use but will also look after it as I have done. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if I change my mind.
