Vespa v100 sport (Douglas)

 Vespa Douglas v100 sport Barn Find.

This Vespa has been stored in a garage for about 10 years. the previous owner hoarded about ten bikes and scooters but never worked on any of them.

I have no paperwork for the scooter. but the frame number is very clear along with the number plate so a new V5c can be applied for from DVLA.

The Ignition switch is broken (will start with any key).

The keys did not come with it so a new steering lock and engine bay lock will be required.

The scooter did not run when I got it but now starts and can be ridden.

I found that the CDI unit was useless so I had a new one and a new HT lead fitted.

With a new battery and fuel it started easily and will tick over and rev nicely.

The lights and brakes work.

The bodywork is very solid and quite straight as can be seen in the pictures. but the paint is poor.

It has the Corsa sports seat which is in fairly good condition.

The exhaust is holed. nbsp;but I have bought a very solid second hand one that is painted and ready to be fitted (see pictures). I will also include a spare exhaust manifold.

The speedo is smashed. but I have also purchased another nearly new one that is included. (see pictures)

The rear light was off when I got it but has now been put back on and works.

The horn doesn't work.

The petrol control rod is missing but the tap can be turned on and off with a long screwdriver through the bodywork.

Please bear in mind that this scooter has stood for a long time and will need some work to make it road worthy. however it is a very nice solid project that could be a stunner when done.

A reasonable reserve is set.

The scooter is in Stoke on Trent and must be collected within 3 days of winning unless otherwise agreed.

A £50 deposit via paypal is required within 24hours of winning.

Cash on collection preferred.

Viewing can be arranged with suitable notice and is recommended.

I have limited knowledge of this scooter and as such it is sold as seen with no warranty given or implied.
