2003 PIAGGIO VESPA GT 200 SILVER

This is my 2003 Vespa. It's been used in London since new (I bought it from a mate when it was a year old) and has a fair bit of cosmetic wear and tear (see photos) BUT it is in excellent mechanical condition having been looked after brilliantly by ET scooters. It has recently(August) had an MOT/Service/Tax(1yr) and new michelin tyres. There is an old blanket cover which I can remove but is pretty handy in the winter. so your call. While there are a few bumps and scrapes. there is no major damage hidden under new paint or parts. The engine is in particularly good shape. running smoothly with no smoke and doesn't burn oil. the auto clutch is also smooth with no grab or judder. I've always used premier fuels and/or redex so am very happy with how she runs. This model has the CDI unit in the front housing not the engine bay which makes it much harder to steal! I also had it datatagged and the two locks I have come with the bike (Thick locking chain and 18mm U lock). The only things that don't work are the locking seat (opens but can't lock) and the digial clock (needs a new watch battery but not worth doing). With a strong engine the only other thing that I understand can cause concern on these bikes is play in the swing arm bushing. of which there is none on this bike (according to my Vespa guru mechanic) and so there is plenty of life left in the bike. Note: for reasons only known to Vespa the odometer reads KM so the 37k is only 23. 00miles. Also I'm riding the bike until it sells so may put a few more miles on it.  I'm only selling as we are leaving the UK. so with a new 125 at £4k and £4. 7k for the 300. this is an absolute commuting bargain!*****COLLECTION ONLY.
