Description

2008 Victory Vision Tour motorcycle with very low miles.  It's VERY nice and has been well maintained and garage kept. It has a 106 cubic inch (1732cc) motor with 6-speed transmission and belt drive.  Heated hand grips. power-adjustable windshield. electronic cruise control. fuel injection. the center head light.  These features and the cup-holders and windshield storage bag I've added make it the best ride I've ever experienced.  I've had most brands of touring bikes and cruisers and like this one the best.  It's awesome on the road. the well-balanced. low center of gravity allows you to come to a complete stop before having to put your feet down. and the styling which gets looks and complements everywhere I go. It also has lowers (wind deflectors) that fold in or out to block air or let it pass.  This is a VERY nice feature.  With the wings folded out. it keeps cold air off  your body and allows engine heat to keep you warm.  With them folded in.  lots of air passes and you won't feel engine heat when you don't want it. The AM/FM/Weather stereo with plug for iPhone or iPod is located in an enclosed storage box on the left side of the tank.  With the iPhone plugged in. you can listen to music or it's GPS through the stereo system while it charges. so your battery never runs down.  This storage box also has a power outlet for charging any other accessories you might have.   The pipes have a nice. deep. throaty. rumble.   It's not loud. but loud enough to hear when cruising down the highway (just slightly louder than the wind at highway speeds). This motorcycle is in very good to excellent condition  Everything works as it should.  There are a few. very minor. cosmetic defects. but nothing that "jumps-out at you". MAINTENANCE HISTORY:At 4800 miles - I bought the bike (2nd hand. from a dealer). At 5000 miles - I changed the oil with Victory semi-syntheticAt 7500 miles - In preparation for a summer trip (that I never got to take):  * I purchased new tires. replaced the spark plugs and air filter. and changed the and oil with AMSOIL fully synthetic. At 10. 00 miles - I changed the oil with AMSOIL fully synthetic.   * The old oil looked very clean -- it could have easily went a few thousand miles more. As of today (Oct 12th). it has 11. 00 miles. but I ride daily so it might have a few hundred more when this auction ends.  I would not hesitate to take this bike anywhere -- you could fly to Columbus and ride it home with confidence. NOTES:There is a $250 non-refundable deposit due within 3 days of the end of the auction.  This can be PayPal. check. cash. etc. The balance is due upon or before picking up / shipping the bike.  This must be cash or certified funds (no PayPal for the balance). I have a loan on the bike.  I will give you a bill of sale immediately. and will send the title to you as soon as I get it from the bank. If you have any questions. please ask before bidding.  To answer some of your questions (I've gotten several):- There's nothing wrong with the bike that I know of.   It starts. idles. runs. shifts. etc as it should.  Cosmetically. I've noticed a minor scuff on each of the saddle bags (about the size of a larger bug. a few bugs that I can't clean off of the lower-front of the bike. and two black marks on the "wing" just below the passenger floor boards (not sure if any of this might come off with some elbow grease). - No. I won't take your ridiculously low offer!   The bid price is my "bottom dollar". - The reason I'm selling is:   (1) I bought it to take a long ride this summer (2) I only have a 1 car garage and winter is coming on & I don't really want to park the car outside this winter. - If it doesn't sell. I'll keep it and ride it until there's too much snow on the ground and again as soon as the snow melts in the spring. - I DO like this bike very much and my next one could very well be another Victory -- if it doesn't sell. I'll gladly keep it. - I haven't shipped a bike in several years.  I don't know what it costs. however I belong to the AMA and can get a discount through Federal Motorcycle Shipping and will help you with arrangements. but the cost must be paid by the buyer.
