Description

You are bidding on a 2013 Victory Vision Tour. This is a very special bike with many upgrades. It is in excellent condition having done two 4-Corners tours which accounts for most of its miles. It really has no damage to speak of besides the usual little stone chips. We were planning to do another cross country tour on it during 2014 but didn't. In preparation for that trip it had its drive belt and BOTH pulleys replaced ($750 in parts alone). new Avon Cobra tires installed and the front forks and triple tree serviced including new seals and bushings. Assuming you probably already know something about this model I'll start out with what is different about this particular bike. This is my third new Vision. BTW. I'm a mature rider of 67. You can see all of the pictures full screen here Pictures. This bike can be configured in three distinctly different ways. All three setups are included with the bike. Special ConfigurationsStreet Mode. Please refer to the pictures above. The street mode features a color matched panel that fills in the area where the trunk would normally attach. For day to day riding this is the way I used it. By eliminating the trunk you pare the weight down by about 45 pounds all of which is cantilevered off of the rear of the bike. The result is dramatically improved handling besides looking really custom.  Tour Mode. This is the way the bike originally comes from Victory. It not only gives you plenty of storage space but also gives your passenger a great built-in backrest and her own built-in audio speakers. The trunk goes on and off with 4 bolts and takes about 15 minutes. Neither my wife nor I really liked the look of the bike with the trunk installed so its been in storage since the bike was new.  Givi Mode. This is something I designed and fabricated. The bike is equipped with a Victory passenger backrest for my wife that she really likes for long trips. It bolts in the same as the trunk does. Attached to it is a custom Givi case mount that utilizes a Givi Trekker 33 litre case. Of course most Givi cases will fit as well. It works perfect for touring since you can pop it off by pressing one button and it becomes a suitcase. It locks on for security. I also added hooks and straps which allowed us to put a dry sack on the top as additional storage. The Givi mount is bolted to the backrest with 4 bolts so it can be detached easily if desired. Performance UpgradesThe bike has been equipped with Lloydz Touring Cams since it was new. These cams increase the power throughout the rev range with particular emphasis on usable torque.  Lloydz mechanical ignition advance. This advance unit is adjustable from -6 to +8 degrees and works on both the ignition and fuel injection. Power Commander with Auto Tune. This unit utilizes custom fuel mapping and automatically adjusts for changes in equipment. fuel or the environment. The bike was dyno-tuned by Mickey Cohen of Mickey Cohen Motorsports. He did a beautiful job as it runs perfectly!Lloydz Idle Air Control Valve. This device supplements the original valve and eliminates backfiring and stumbling on deceleration. I installed Traxxion fork cartridges to replace the stockers. Traxxion's units feature rebound and compression adjusters and really improved the ride. The bike is equipped with Lyndall composite brakes all around. They weigh 1/3 of the originals and improved braking performance tremendously. I also kept all the original brake components if you want them.  I installed Centramatic wheel balancers on both wheels. They keep the wheels balanced dynamically and eliminate the need to ever balance your wheels when installing new tires. I particularly had in mind my cross country trips where I never know who is going to be installing new tires or what they're capable of. Along with that I installed a Doran Tire Pressure Monitoring system for both wheels. Comfort and ConvenienceCustom Day-Long seat manufactured by Russell Seats in Shasta Lake. CA. This seat is so comfortable that you just forget about it. It was custom made for me so if it doesn't fit you as well as it did me then you can send it back to them and they will modify it to your requirements. Both the rider and passenger areas were redone. The seats are heated by the way with separate controllers front and rear. The passenger seat back was modified slightly to keep my wife from sliding forward. I had extra foam added to it to move her off of the angled portion at the back of the passenger seat.  I installed two outlets for our heated Gerbings jackets. Both are controlled by individual Heattrollers. They are included in the pictures above. I have three windshields for the bike. The original has some normal light scratching. I also had two clear Cee Bailey's screens made. One of them which is still in the box is the standard height and the one installed currently is 1" taller. They all go with the bike.  I added two normal mirrors to the existing threaded holes in the handlebar control clamps. I had the original mirrors upholstered over. If you wanted to go back to the original setup all you have to do is to remove the glued on upholstery. The bike is equipped with Victory's optional XM satellite radio. It is integrated into the bike and uses the same controls and buttons as the regular radio. I also added Victory's Bluetooth dongle which is made by Sena. It allows us to listen to the radio. iPod or other device through our Bluetooth headsets.  I originally added Victory's clear lexan lower air deflectors that work great in both summer and winter. Later on I purchased a set of billet aluminum deflectors for both the top and bottom positions and had them color matched. Check the pictures. I made a custom radar detector mount that attaches to the top of the brake master cylinder. It features a magnetic holder that will work with any detector. Check the pictures. MiscellaneousThe shock on this bike is air adjustable. I have a pump and gauge that is included with the bike. I replaced the original ugly stand-up licence plate holder with a stainless lay-down variety. The bike is equipped for a couple of large eyebolts for tying it down on a trailer or lift. I always took along a set in case I needed some work done on the road and they are included.  Touch-up paint in both colors. Each and every service has been done either by me or by the dealer. There is little to nothing to do other than change the oil and filter on this bike. It has hydraulic lifters so no adjustment is needed. It uses a common oil sump for the engine. trans and primary so you only have to do one change every 5000 miles.  In regards to transport. I can certainly help with arrangements but the ultimate cost and responsibility are up to the buyer. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Good luck bidding!I'll list all the standard features below from Victory's website:106 CUBIC-INCH FREEDOM?® V-TWIN
