Yamaha RD 250 torque induction tax exempt 1973

For sale is my RD250 torque induction model. the bike is registered 1973 and is tax excempt. The bike is taxed and tested and on the road with the v5 in my name.

The bike has been imported from germany some years ago so the speedo reads in KPH. over all the bike is in very good condition it starts first or secound kick and runs very well with no unusual rattles. it does smoke. it"s a two stroke! it rides well with the six speed gearbox i think the uk market had just five speeds i rember altering mine back in 1977 to a six it was only a matter of removing a stop on the selector drum to pickup the extra gear. every one at the time said it would not work and go straight into first but that never happened.

I had the bike listed recently with expansion chambers on these are on one of the photos. these have been removed  and the standard pipes refiited it runs well on these and does not upset the neighbours!

As you can see from the photos the bike has been repainted in the candy red 350 colours this was a personnel choice and the paint job was done professionally and is perfect. took the bike for a quick blast today and was grining like a cheshire cat! it was great fun.
