Yamaha R1 2005 5VY Clean example with low miles

For sale is my Yamaha YZF-R1 2005

It has covered less than 7000 (6850 roughly) miles and has got some service history along with this. I have changed the oil recently and have old filters. oil bottles and receipts to prove. The bike starts first time every time. the engine is strong as it should be. gearbox faultless and rides very very well.

This particular R1 has a custom paint job on it. which was done by the previous owner. it looks fantastic in my opinion. although the front wheel would look better white in my opinion. but it's not hard to get that changed. The body work is in tip top condition. very clean throughout. There are stone chips to the front lower fairing but this is to be expected of sports bikes.

This R1 is fitted with LED indicators and relay so they flash correctly. all wired in with R1 connections so the wiring looms has not been chopped up under the panels. It comes with a tail tidy. small plate and big plate also so you can choose between the two. It is currently fitted with standard exhausts. and this is what the auction is for. Pictures show scorpion exhausts. which are also on ebay.

There is a Toby steering damper fitted which is an upgrade over the standard one.

1 red key and 2 black keys comes with this bike.

The bike benefits from having an up rated steering damper from standard and nearly new Michelin 2CT tyres fitted.

Great bike. only looking to sell as want an R6 and a MX Bike.
