yamaha r1 big bang 2010 track project stunt look spares or repair

Up for grabs is this 2010 Yamaha R1 Big Bang. ideally track/race/stunt bike.

Why buy a 7 grand bike and spend money on top to turn into a track bike.

As seen in the pictures the bike has some damage. it was dropped/slid on the right hand side and sustained damage to the frame leg (engine mount). Rest of the frame is straight and aligned quoted ?370 to repair. the max you will have to pay.

Engine had a cracked casing which was replaced with a second hand unit and sealed with appoxy.

It’s a very low mileage engine only 3900 miles on the clock. runs sweet. no rattle at all. Mileage can be checked on dvla website.

Front wheel is not cracked but bent. quoted ?40 to repair.

Rear wheel is marked but not bent. rest of the bike is straight. no damage to the forks or discs.

Starts on button. runs sweet. I have ridden it in a private car park and found no issues.

I have 3keys. 2 data tool fobs (working). hand book with paper work.

Faring is lose and missing screws. left hand side tank infill is missing. air intake pipes are missing. front master cylinder missing. dent on right hand side of the radiator but no leaks and not really visible. Dent on fuel tank Bike is 98 percent complete. rest parts are available on ebay. origanally bike was white

Bike will come with standard exhaust. not the one seen in the picture. original seat is included. tail tidy r & g chain adjuster. braided lines RSV lever and may have few other extras.

Almost new Michelin pilot 2ct tyres.

Bikes’ story (please ready carefully before bidding)

Bought this bike 4months ago through ebay . it was advertised as damaged but unrecorded HPI clear with full V5. Did a text check all came clear so bought it.

Sent the log book to transfer it under my name. after not receiving the log book in due period I contact DVLA and found out that the bike   has a CAT on it and required a DVSA identity check.

Passed the identity check on 19th Jan 2014 and awaiting log book. was told by DVLA that the log book will be issued soon and bike can be ridden on a public road if its road worthy and MOTD.

Bike might be going on a Q plate as recorded as CAT . if not sure please google it. Kindly do your own HPI. REG L90AKE.
