Yamaha XJ650 1981 WOW JUST 9700 MILES 2 FORMER KEEPERS NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION

WOW bought last year as I couldn't resist it but unused since. I have cleaned and set up the carbs with replacement jets etc so it starts and runs perfect. it has a Yamaha tool kit still under the seat and 1 key fits the original Yamaha lock. seat and fuel cap and a separate key for the ignition. The bike has 2 former keepers so 3 in total since 1981 and when 1st collected it was starting badly due to poorly cleaned carbs which indicate the bike was in storage for a long period of time helping to support the low mileage. Condition is excellent for its age but does have patina (some slight pitting etc) and has a few bits touched up on the engine but largely the appeal of this example is its originality. slightly faded paint and incredibly low mileage and ownership. The second owner bought the bike in 1993 and owned until 2011 so I would guess this is when it was stored and the history really is from 2011. it has an owners manual. Yamaha service manual and original sales leaflet. original silencers (rotten ) also come with the bike. In summary a great modern classic in excellent usable condition with low mileage. low ownership and a 6 digit reg. please call with any questions
