1982 YAMAHA MOTORCYLE XJ1100J MAXIMWe are selling my dad's motorcycle as is. Not currently running; for sure the carburetors need to be re-worked.  Otherwise. it is in pretty good condition. and believe it can be restored to mint/excellent condition. Has surface rust.  Has not been on the road in a long time.  Dad said he took apart the headlight to clean and paint but never put it completely back together.  It's been sitting in a shed for a long time.  Dad had a couple other motorcycles at the time. and this one got put on the back burner. He doesn't ride any more.  Includes everything pictured. plus saddlebags (stained and dirty. washable?. no tears or rips). and a nice vinyl full length cover.  4 Cylinder. 1100 CC Engine.  5 Speed Manual Transmission. Shaft Drive. Gas engine. Key-start. no kick-start.   Everything pictured is included.  I have a lot more close-up photos but not willing to pay to include them in this listing. Some highlights: * 2 Sets of Original Yamaha tools with original case/pouch* Helmet* Battery. clean and no corrosion  (condition unknown. but it's been stored out of the motorcyle)* 2 NEW tires. still have "tits" on the tread of both* Original Service manual. plus binder full of parts diagrammed. nbsp;with corresponding Part List with part numberAnyone living within range is welcome to come and take a look at it prior to purchase. This is a big cycle; it has a lot of presence.
