Description

My trusty Divvy has served it's purpose and now it's time for a change. I bought the bike for the shaft drive back in 2008 to commute up and down the M4 while I was working in London for a year or so. I fitted heated grips which added to the comfort factor no end. The last couple of years it has been a sunny day week-end bike. Last year I went to Germany for a long week-end on it. I have mot certificates going back to 2008 and the V5 is in my name. I do all my own servicing so no service history documents. The battery is a year old. I replaced the regulator last year as well as the steering head bearings. It has just had oil and filter changed. new air and fuel filter. new rear pads. change brake fluids and both tyres have at least 3mm of tread. It has a givi monorack fitted which is for a top box only. not side panniers (box not part of the sale). braided brake hoses front and rear. a fender extender on the front and a hugger on the rear. There are engine bars also fitted. The bike comes with an Oxford "D" lock which is fitted under the seat. It is a 15 year old bike so has a bit of wear and tear as you would expect. The fuel gauge has a mind of it's own which is standard on Diversions but the fuel light works fine with an easy 25 mile range once it comes on. The tank range is around 180 miles. All the panels are sound it is just the paintwork that has a few scuffs and scratches here and there. The seat cover is torn at the front on the left and right hand sides but not across the main surface. The right hand silencer has a scuff on the lower front side but it is not blowing (it was like that when I bought it).

The MoT runs out 28/04/2015. the new owner will need to tax it as DVLA have changed the rules.

All the usual T's and C's please folks. no test rides without full cash deposit. no tyre kickers. canvassers or timewasters. payment in full before the bike is taken away. The bike is good to go so if you get insurance you could ride it away. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange collection.

I have tried to be as honest as possible in my description and as such no warranty or liablility is implied or given. The bike is advertised locally as well so I reserve the right to withdraw it at any time.

Please email me for more details/photos or to arrange a viewing.
