What you a bidding on is a survivor 1975 Yamaha RD350 twin cylinder 2 stroke with oil injection. I found it in a Yamaha dealers warehouse where it had i for the last 20 plus years. If you are familiar with it. it was call the "giant killer" because of its great handling and quickness. Larger more powerful bikes of the day just couldn't keep up. All of the wiring. paint and chrome is original. I have replaced the tires and tube ( original retro tread pattern). all rubber tubing and gas lines have been replaced. Since I was unsure of the engine condition I had it bored out to the first oversize and overhauled the carbs. The clutch is new as well as the seals. Also has a new battery. The only things that have been repainted are the battery box and air cleaner box. I also had the exhaust head pipes Jet Hot coated so they will no longer rust. The fuel tank was creamed inside at some point. but not by me. However it has not leaked on me. I did replace the fuel cap and petcock seals. I have only put 200 miles on it since refurbished. Just had to save it since I rode one just like it in college. Now hoping someone else will enjoy riding it as much as I have enjoyed saving it.
