Chopper style with Yamaha quality is what the 2013 Yamaha Raider is all about!  When designing this bike Yamaha was inspired by the chopper movement sweeping the nation but wanted to build a bike you could ride everyday.   With a combined 6 degree yoke angle and 33 degree rake. the Raider gives you a chopper look that can handle corners as well!  Boasting one of the largest production V-Twin engines on the market and an advanced fuel injection system the Raider makes huge power!  Don't be fooled however. this bike also features some true V-Twin features like pushrod operated valves.   Ceramic-composite plated cylinders and oil jet cooled pistons provide maximum heat dissipation allowing this bike to ride all day long!  The big swept exhaust contains Yamaha's own EXUP valve which provides extra torque between the comfortable cruising rpms of 2500-3500.   The all aluminum cast frame shaves weight off the bike and a sculpted low seat give the Raider it's true ride-ability.   Wide tires sitting on custom 5 spoke rims top off the look and overall comfort of this bike and twin disc brakes up front make any stop a breeze!  This is your chance to get on a bike with the custom chopper look and Yamaha's legendary reliability!  Whether you plan on taking all day trips or just quick cruises downtown on the weekends. the Yamaha Raider is the bike for you!
