Yamaha XJ 900, 1991 with full Givi Luggage NO RESERVE

Selling my old XJ900. its been garaged since the tax run out in October 2014. it was running fine when stored and still starts easily. usually 1st press of the button. since being laid up there is a slight misting of petrol on left side carb. it never did this before and i presume its just a sticky float with being stood. i would recommend you give the bike a good service before any long journeys. BUT as i said. was and is running ok! just being honest Would make an ideal rally bike or maybe a TRIKE conversion with it being shaft drive? Or just use as is and enjoy a cheap bike for the summer. Comes with large Givi luggage. sorry but i will not sell this separately. it goes with the bike! 2 sets of keys for the luggage and the bike too! 1 of the side panniers have slight melting under it. presumably they were once fitted to another bike where they touched the exhaust? but still work as they should.   The bike toured Europe last year . only complaint is a little lumpy on revs when cold. and slight slow speed wobble when panniers on. anything above 20mph is ok. and will cruise all day at motorway speeds. Dont let the miles put you off. the engine is still strong with no excessive smoke or rattles.  Obviously for a bike of this age its not mint. its been used and enjoyed and seldom washed. but always maintained by me and previous owner. it would look 100 times better if you took the time to give it a good polish up. Fairing rattles a bit at speed. and the top edges of the screen have snapped off. all like this when i got it.
