 1994 Yamaha Vmax VMX1200!! I do not need to go into any info about a Vmax. if you are looking at this auction you know the history and the info on this massive machine! I will start with my history of the bike. I know i am the 3rd owner. The first owner bought new and sold at around 7k miles to the 2nd owner. both which were older gentleman who took amazing care of her. I bought her back in 2011 with only 9800 pampered miles. It now has just over 15k on the clock. It has not been abused or drag raced or modded beyond stock other than a couple of things. 1. Mr. John Cornell did the permanent fix to my flywheel and the starter clutch problem that eventually haunts all vmax's. He was a great guy and i feel privileged to have been able to have met the man. I still have the receipt for that job as well. 2. The infamous wire crimp on the charging system has been removed and the original shunt style rectifier has been removed to allow a mosfet r/r to be installed and wired directly to the battery. the R/R came off a 2007 CRB 900 rr and its the same 3 wire 3 phase charging setup. My battery cold will sit at 12. 6 volts. Idle is 13. 8 and 3k is 14. 1 give or take. The bike does have a brand new Odyssey sealed battery in it. No hot start issues or charging issues Period. Its perfect. This bike is my baby and it doesn't see rain or rock roads. It is garage kept when not rolling down the road. I just put on front and back new Shenko V Rated tires. which are far better than the dunlops that do not last. Less than 200 miles on the new tires. I get attention everywhere i go because around here most people have never seen a Vmax. They always ask what year ? I say you tell me and the average guess i get is 2006 or 2007. It makes me a proud owner to know this bike looks almost like new. It is super clean and runs as good as it looks. It is very fast. The V-boost is stock and pulls hard through every gear. No shifting issues or 2nd gear issues. I also replaced the intake boots last summer and the fuel filter and new plugs with NGK boots. The bike also has new fork seals installed 2 summers ago. The cooling fan is direct wired to a toggle and bypassed the thermal switch because i don't like it to run hot like the factory has it setup. I never have to even use the fan unless its 95+ degrees out and I am in stop and go traffic for a long period of time. I own a set of carbtune sync gauges and set the sync on the bike at the end of the summer of 2014 and they are still dead on now. The throttle response and the pull of this machine is awesome. It hits 100 mph in a blink. I do not need to pump it up lol anyone who loves this classic muscle cruiser knows they run very strong.   I will only accept cash on the sale and i will not deal with people who want to tire kick. Please only serious bidders only. No joy rides. I am only testing the market on who will offer what and if my # is made i will sell her if not i will keep her. I am pretty firm on my reserve. I run Rotella 15-40 oil in it and its changed every 1500 miles or once a year whichever comes firstThis bike is a diamond in the rough and you just do not see this year and color in this kind of shape anymore. and i see what other bike sell for with twice the miles and have been modded and ran hard all their life.
