1994 YAMAHA RED

Unfortunately I'm selling my TDM. I was planning to drag it out the garage again once the weather improved but I accidently woke up one day with sore head and a woman who I'm now saving up to move in with so to speed that up a bit I'm selling the bike with the plan of buying another one sometime later in the year when she's not looking.

The bike's been great to me. and despite being the biggest bike I've ever had it doesn't feel heavy or difficult to move about. It's great on fuel and I was using it for commuting 25 miles to work and back each day + a good few blasts upto the Lakes & round wales. Last year I decided it would be a good idea to be on the safe side and replace the timing chain. cylinder head and base gaskets. plugs. oil. filter and set the valve clearances. It wasn't a good idea. it was a bastard to work on but it's done now with delivery notes etc so you'll get plenty of life out of her yet.

She has always had a little hiccup at about 3k rpm when on low throttle but I've worked around this easily by changing my riding habbits. I'd suspect the emulsion tube problem that these are notorious for or the fact I've never had the carbs balanced so it shouldn't take much work to get her good. As mentioned a new back tyre will be needed before getting an MOT. Apart from that she's great fun and still goes as fast you ask.

Engine bars fitted. Nexxus exhausts (Not sure if these are original or not?) and LUGGAGE INCLUDED!

So grab yourself a cheapish tourer which just needs a little bit of work.

Sorned so van / trailer will be needed to collect.
