1982 Yamaha RD250LC – Fabulous Condition & Very Low Mileage
An original example of the iconic Yamaha RD250LC. nbsp;4L1 model. with matching frame and engine numbers.
Unrestricted Spanish import declared manufactured in 1982. now UK registered on an age related X plate. taxed and MOT until September 2013 and showing 3526 KMS which is approximately 2200 miles.
I accept that mileage can never be guaranteed on a 32 year old motorcycle but the general all round condition of this bike would suggest that the mileage is genuine. The very quiet motor and the crisp. almost tinny note of pipes when fired up is also an indicator of the fact that this bike hasn't really done that much work.
In exceptional condition. having spent its life dry stored in Malaga. a dry climate with no moisture in the air and no salt on the roads have ensured none of the normal corrosion you would expect from a UK bike is evident on this bike. there is no rust whatsoever. Exhausts not scratched. welded or gravel damaged. pegs are in good nick. the bike is not showing any signs of having been down the road. Paint work is very good throughout. Motor. cases and all hardware is original and mint.
All the original parts are present and correct and where they should be. The bike is ready to ride with no work required whatsoever.
Rides and runs as it should with no nasty noises. changes gears with no clutch slip or drag and handles well. A real survivor and a genuine motorcycle. just as it was back in the day.
Not your normal LC this is something really quite special.
