Rare vintage 82 Yamaha YZ 250. First year watercooled YPVS. NR ! can ship

This is a collectable bike. It is the first year they watercooled the YZ250 and also put the YPVS powervalve system. The bike ran lat year. but it needs complete restoration. Coolant leaks from the seal in the steering column where they piped coolant to the radiator. a common problem. I would also recommend a carburetor cleaning and a complete going through as the bike has been stored a while. Suspension seems ok. compression ok. Pipe headpipe bent a little. Plastics faded. I do have the original title. Pick up in San Diego. I can also possibly deliver to LA area for about $75. I can also ship the bike out of state by 2 methods. The first method is strapped on a pallet and shipped by semi truck by Forward Air. I would remove the rear wheel and forks to shorten the bike and then ship to the nearest Forward Air pick up warehouse where you HAVE TO PICK IT UP. Shipping long distance is very cheap this way. I can probably get the bike to New York from California for $275 ! Another method is by USHIP where independant shippers deliver the bike whole to your home. This method is more expensive and ranges from about $150 to San Francisco to $600 to New York.
