1985 YAMAHA RZ 500

I recently found this bike sitting in a garage covered up the owner bought the bike new. after he took it for a short ride he parked it covered it up and never drove it again he told me it scared him so never tried again. the bike has less then 20 miles on it. I changed all the fluids . ew battery. spark plugs. fuel lines and updated cdi. new back tire. the bike is a rare find and in beautiful condition. its like new. I am the second owner and have a clear California title in hand. heres your chance to own one of the greats just like it came off the factory line back in 85. The person i bought it from bought it fromvteam roberts racing ive tryed to confirm this by contacting roberts racing but have had no luck finding them. So i can only say this is what i was told by the person i got it from i also have the gas tank that was painted it was removed because fuel was left inside all these years. The bike is beautiful and ifi could confirm it was a team roberts bike it be goung for alot more i have service manuel and 2 magazines with articles of this bike and roberts racing along with a california clear title the bike was serviced and inspected and is ready to go. these bikes are getting harder to find and will be more valuable as time goes onOn Feb-13-15 at 18:41:28 PST. seller added the following information:Beautiful bike low miles was told bike may have beenbowned by team roberts racing i was just told that it wasnt. But i cant be sure either way its a rare bike in awesome shape for the year its picked up a few nicks or scratch very minor ive replaced the cdi battery all fluids plugs gas lines rebuilt brake mastercylinder i have the original tank going back on it that mathes the rest of the lucky strike paint. i had to get the inside cleaned out because fuel was left in it over the years it was stored. These bikes are hard to find and this bikr is awesome
