2014 Yamaha FZ-09 Rapid Red

My 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 is up for sale. This bike is Rapid Red with the factory stripe on the tank. It has 3. 99 miles on it. I'm the first owner. This bike has no mechanical/cosmetic issues. All parts are factory stock except the cam chain tensioner. which has been replaced with Ape's Pro Series cam chain tensioner. All scheduled maintenance has been completed by Zuma Cycle in Valdosta. GA. For the gearheads out there. this bike has Yamaha's new 3-cylinder 847cc engine. It weighs 414 lbs wet. has 115 hp and 65 lb-ft of torque with an advertised 0-60 of 2. 7 seconds. This bike will out-accelerate most liter bikes until the nakedness overtakes the aerodynamics around 130 mph. The track top speed is about 143 mph. You can get the front wheel off the ground in the first two gears easily (third if you work at it). The rear tire needs to be replaced. The advertised price is as-is. For a nominal fee. I can have new tires installed at purchase. This bike is not for the faint of heart and is not a learning bike. but is a great step up from a 600 or similar bike. There are very few of these on the road around southern Georgia and the FZ is definitely a unique bike. This bike was designed and marketed as direct competition for Triumph's Street Triple and MV Agusta's Brutale 800. The pictures don't do the paint justice. This is a great bike in awesome condition. Bike is available to show evenings and weekends or other times by appointment. This is a hooligan bike. do not expect much in the way of a test drive unless you can show me you're serious about a purchase and have insurance and gear. The title is under lien by Yamaha credit and may take 2-4 weeks to clear and be delivered. Once clear. title will be delivered via FedEx/UPS overnight delivery.
