This is a 1997 "P" reg Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat.
This bike is the cleanest Thundercat I have ever seen. It has been owned by a mature rider since it was 1 year old. It was never ridden in the wet or winter. In fact it was also never ridden. It has just 5315 miles. You tell this is totally genuine when you look at the condition of the bike. It even has the original Dunlop tyres fitted and I've just removed the original Yamaha battery from it.
The bike has been dry stored since 2002 and just been unearthed back into the sunlight. We have fitted a brand new battery. the carbs and fuel system has been drained. cleaned out and fresh fuel put back in. Apart from that all it needs now is a good clean. well more of a dust to be honest.
The only defaults I can find is the swingarm has some scratches in the paint where a paddock stand has been used to park it up. The front right hand indicator has been brushed against a wall and it is scratched a bit with a very small crack around the mounting. I am being very picky here :) Look under the seat and you can see how good this bike is. The original tool kit untouched in its position. even has the original exhaust silencer with no marks on it.
There is no old paperwork with the bike. all of this has been misplaced over the years. However there would not be much anyway as it was never used. I have the old tax discs which we found in the holder on the bike. The Datatag registration paperwork we have as well. So you can change this to your name and of course we have the full V5 logbook. There is also a spare (non Yamaha) key for the bike.
I honestly believe you will not find a cleaner one in the country. this is a rare change to buy such a low mileage Thundercat. If I had room I would be keeping it for myself. as you just don't find mint Thundercat's.
I will get it MOT's for the winner. so will come with 12 months MOT. Then you are ready for the summer on this great bike.
