Vehicle overview:Hi here from my personal collection is a 1991 Yamaha FS1 Air Cooled 49cc 2-stroke manual 4-speed geared learner legal moped/ motorbike. This is the 90's remake of the iconic FS1E. small/ light and easy to control and ride and loads of fun.  Very nice top quality motorbike from Yamaha. 5 previous owners from new. This motorbike is in good condition for its year. starts easily and runs and rides perfectly. I have refurbished the bike and have got it ready for it's next owner. Looks to have had a replacement exhaust silencer fitted recently. Engine has not been messed with and is in standard form.  Sold with a new 12 month TAX receipt* and a new 12 months MOT so can be ridden away! Comes with key. new 12 months MOT certificate. new 12 month TAX receipt*. full V5 registration document and full purchase receipt.

Overall condition (1 being for spares. 20 being showroom as new condition) : 12. Good condition for its year. Has been used and has age related wear and tear (see photos and watch the video). Good example of this bike. Very good engine with good exhaust system fitted.  

Mechanical condition: Very good. has been well looked after. starts easily by the kick-start. Good 6v battery fitted. 49cc 2-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine. 2-stroke oil pump still operating correctly. Plenty of power. idles very nicely. very nippy off the mark and pretty fast for what it is. will happily get to 45mph. No leaks at all. Manual choke as standard working fine. Speedo and mileometer working fine. Engine starts easily and runs very well with normal 2-stroke smoke. Very good engine.

Cosmetic condition: Good for its age. Has age related marks and scratches but is solid and has nothing that needs attention. Chrome wheel rims very good. scratches to paint on fuel tank have been touched up. seat cover has been taped up. chrome mudguards are still good. Please view the photos and watch the video.

Electrics :Everything works. no faults to report.

Test run: Runs and rides nicely. quick off the mark and rides really cleanly. Touches just over 45MPH. Pulls cleanly through all gears. Runs and rides superb! Handles great and sounds awesome (see video).

Brakes:Good working order. Predictable drum brake at the rear and front wheel.

Suspension:Good working order front and back. fork seals showing no signs of leaking.

Tires:Both tires are good. front tyre has approx 50% tred remaining and the rear tyre has approx 70% tred remaining.

MOT? : This scooter will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS MOT post auction end.

TAX? :This is my scooter and will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS TAX RECEIPT post auction end*.

*- As of 1st October 2014 if the buyer wishes to take advantage of having a new 12 months TAX receipt included in the sale then it will be their responsibility to make the sure the bike is insured from the agreed day that the seller will arrange to TAX it from otherwise the bike will be sold untaxed with no reduction of the sale price.

Could I get this bike delivered? :Yes. Delivery option at 90p per mile one way to cover the cost of fuel up to 150 miles from WR14 at quoted by AA Route planner. If I am delivering this bike I require a non-refundable deposit of ?100 via paypal within 48 hours of the end of this auction.

I can however. share my opinion as to its appearance and mechanical condition. I always test-ride and inspect all my bikes very carefully prior to listing them.
