1986 Yamaha Fazer FZX700

Selling my 1986 Yamaha Fazer with 36K original miles. If you are looking at this bike. then you already know what you are looking at; this particular model was only available for two years in the US - this bike is the bigger brother of the Yamaha Radian. and the little brother of the Yamaha V-Max. This is the US version of the FZX750. the US version was limited in CC's due to import tariffs at the time. The mirrors are NOT original. someone stole the original pair while I was at work. I have one other mirror off another fazer that I can throw in as well. plus. I have about 75% of the materials needed to add the center stand (some of mounting hardware was not sent with the bike from previous owner. he never got back with me to send them. ) Bike starts easy and runs beautifully. no major mechanical issues. The only mechanical issues arise from the a clutch that leaks a tiny bit of fluid and the low-fuel indicator does not work. That is it. Everything else on the bike functions and performs as expected. The seat's leather has started to crack - just couldn't take one more winter in my garage; you can see this cracking in the photos. I also have the front fairing for this bike which is about as rare as an item can be for this particular bike. but. the plexi is cracked or may be missing a chunk - fairing comes with most of the mounting hardware (a screw or nut may be missing though). I don't have any pictures of the fairing. but. if you want some; happy to take them. Just let me know. If you wish to test ride the bike prior to purchase. that can be arranged - but. you will need the agreed upon price in hand. a helmet. and a motorcycle license. Otherwise. I will just start it in the driveway and you can listen to the motor. No exceptions. I am available to help.
