Here we have for sale my Yamaha TTR600RE which I have owned since 2008 and has 4 previous owners. I bought this as a low maintenance bike for some gentle green lane rides and general pottering about on and it has been perfect but I am jut not getting the time to use it these days (less than 100 miles in the last 3 years!) so it is time for it to go to a new home!

The bike is in relatively standard unmodified condition (apart from Rental bars. heated grips and Acerbis hand guards) and doesn't need any mechanical work. just turn the key and ride it! As well as recently being serviced it has also got a new DID O Ring chain and smaller front sprocket to make it more manageable on the slower trails and in town.

One of the fork seals was replaced for the last MOT along with the front brake light switch but apart from that it hasn't needed any work apart from servicing in the time I've owned it.

As far as paperwork goes I have the original delivery papers (PDI. service book etc) for the first owner. the Yamaha owners manual and every MOT. I also have the HPI check I paid for when I bought the bike in 2008 confirming then that it hadn't been stolen. written off etc. There are the 2 original keys plus a spare which I had cut when I thought I'd lost one! There are also some (but not all) receipts for tyres and service items which it has needed over the years.

There are some odds n sods which will come with the bike such as the original front sprocket. spare oil drain plug seals and a couple of spare front tyres.

Now for the bad bits! As you can see from the photos the finish of the bike has suffered over the years so if you are looking for a showroom perfect bike this one is not for you. The paint on the frame could do with touching up. there are scuffs on the plastics (especially the headlight surround) and the seat is a bit faded. There is some small pits on the fork legs but these do not affect operation and there are no leaks. The spokes are also showing some corrosion and look like they have been painted at some time. The engine starts and runs perfectly and doesn't smoke or leak oil but is does make a little metallic noise when cold. This goes once it is warmed up and I had it checked out by a mechanic when I first bought the bike and was told “it's nothing to worry about”. Overall there is nothing which affects the function of the bike but I would prefer to be completely honest to avoid any disagreements later!
