Yamaha DT250 MX Restored in 2010 NEW MOT Excellent Condition Ready to ride

This is for a Yamaha DT250MX. I purchased this bike in Germany in 2008 as a restoration project and then spent 2 years restoring it to this and it was ready to register in 2010

Its has a full engine rebuild with rebuilt crank. all new genuine Yamaha seals. a fresh re-bore to 2nd oversize with new Yamaha pistons and rings.

All new cables

Frame has been powder coated.

All paintwork has been done by Med Paint http://www. medpaint. co. uk/#!/page_About if you look in his gallery you will see my paint set.

New MPH clock set

Re-spoke wheels. new bearings and a new set of Michelin tyres

New chain and sprocket set

New brake shoes

All new bearings including headstock.

New Old stock original Yamaha complete seat.

Plus loads more.

The purchase of the bike and the restoration stands me in access of ?3500 and 2 years work finds and restoring the parts.

The bike has all the hard to find parts like the speedo guide and the exhaust heat shield.

Matching engine and frame number. they match each other and the V5 so its never has an engine change.

The bike is near perfect. the only defects that I can see are a very slight yellowing round by the fuel filler cap due to petrol spillage (No lifting of the paint) and this may come out. please look at the photo.

I have no idea of the mileage but basically this is a new bike its showing 4057 now and I only did 57 miles last year. its been stored with my other bikes in a heated. alarmed. nbsp;CCTV coverage garage.

Comes with the handbooks as per the photo. these cost me over ?100

The V5 is in my name and has been since day one and I have the spare keys.

Its never been out in the wet since I have restored it. just the odd summer ride. (I have many other Yamaha two strokes so I don't get to use it a great deal)

The bike sounds good with no nasty knocks. the autolube is set correct and the bike runs well with no flat spots. it stops well. starts well as you would expect.

Please study the photos and compare this bike to others out there. this one is a bit special and the best one I have ever seen and I go to most shows around the country but please make your own mind up.
