1993 Yamaha Virago XV750

For sale (reluctantly) is my 1993 Yamaha Virago XV 750

Wedding and house sale are the reasons for sale.

I bought this bike in August 2010 as a project to do until I had passed my direct access.

I have ridden her from Jan 2011 onwards with no issues (once I had finished the refurb).

The work I have done is as follows:-

* Total carb overhaul

* New rubber manifolds.

* Front and rear mudguards sandblasted. stone-chipped and re-sprayed.

* Starter motor overhauled.

* Fork seals and oil replaced.

* Lead acid battery replaced with Mottobatt Gel battery.

* Regulator/rectifier replaced.

* Valve clearances done.

* Brake fluid replaced.

* Plugs replaced with Iridium ones.

* Oil and filter change done over Christmas. (Air filter and plugs OK)

* Regularly serviced.

Good bits

* Comes with a Haynes manual

* Mechanically sound.

* Low mileage for age. (22K)

* Have some spares to include in sale.

* Well looked after.

* New front tyre.

* Loads of paperwork and receipts

Bad bits

* Tear in seat cover (replacement covers readily available on ebay)

* Only one key.

* Chromed bits aren’t in great nick due to age of bike and living in Anglesey :).

* Exhaust down-pipe did have surface corrosion (wire brushed and treated with rust converter - OK)

I am open to sensible offers however will not go below the initial start amount.
