YAMAHA FS1 HIGH PIPE YAMAHA FS1E ORIGINAL CONDITION TO RESTORE

It is with regret that i offer for sale my Yamaha FS1  high pipe but too many other projects and a lack of time suggests that I will not get to this one anytime soon so I think now is the time to let someone else take the project on. I dont know too much about the history of this bike other than I think it may have originated from Belgium or Holland but in any case there are no papers for the bike or an old reg number but the frame number etc is clear and original. to register it in the UK you will need to fill out a NOVA form etc but with a vehicle of this age from the EU there will be no Duty to pay!So for the description. ell it is how you see it in the pics. he engine turns over but there is not a great deal of compression. the left side panel is missing and there are no keys. The tank looks solid and certainly not rusty on the outside but it does sound like it has some crud on the inside. The seat base looks sound and is not all rusty and rotten. I think the KM's on the speedo may well be original as it still works. In my opinion most of the chrome would rechrome no problem with the only part needing any real work is the rear mudguard where the rear light mounting holes have been damaged and so need welding up and a couple of dents in this area to sort out. Please note this bike is currently in France where I live but will be transported to the UK at the end of next week and I could deliver for free between Dover and Oxford on friday the 13th or you can collect it from me in Oxford next saturday morning. I do not have anywhere to leave the bike in the UK so it will need to be collected or delivered during the specified days. I may be able to deliver to some other areas on the friday but please email me first to know what I can or can't do. Any questions please ask but before thursday as I will be on the road and probably unlikely to pick up your questions as I am a tecno dinosaur and don't like I phones!!At the end of auction I would like a ?100 deposit via paypal please and the remainder cash on delivery/collection.
