1991 Yamaha XV1100 Viragow/ California Side car attachedNICE RIG --- ready to go. ---NO RESERVE AUCTION---$1. 00 STARTING BID---BIKE WILL SELL--If you've been looking for something really fun. then here you go. This is a 1100 Virago with custom painted & red vinyl California side car rig. This side car itself is made from fiberglass & steel and is surprisingly robust & strong. All mounting attachments & bolts are very large with thick attachment points and very heavy duty support bars. I would trust putting my children in this---it is WELL BUILT. I've seen some out there that I would not put my worst enemy in. let alone a loved one. The set up is complete with front mounted steering sway/shock. side shocks. allowing this three wheeler to drive down the road extremely well. Very comfortable. and has MORE than enough power to propel you. your wife. nbsp;AND your dog (or kids/person) anywhere you want to go. Safety belt attached for sidecar occupant. Bike starts instantly and runs very well. This engine has a lot of power. and moves out well even with the sidecar attached. Acceleration is brisk. and you can go much faster than you will probably want to with the power this motor provides. Has aftermarket side pipes that exit at rear. seems to add some power. but is not too loud. Chrome engine guards & highway foot pegs are included and attached along with a few various aftermarket chromed bolt-ons as well. Seat cover of bike. seat inside of side car. and tonneau cover are custom red vinyl and appear to be extremely well made with a nice fit. Otherwise. I believe the bike is basically stock with all original paint (very nice--no dings in sheetmetal). Front forks and rear shocks all work great with no leakage noted from anything. anywhere. These Virago's were (and still are) extremely popular with women riders and shorter men. as even someone 5' tall can touch the ground with their feet firmly planted. A lot of people were very unhappy when Yamaha discontinued the 'Virago' series and replaced them with the newer 'Star' series. making these Viragos some of the most popular and sought after used bikes out there. These Viragos are very user friendly and easy to ride. Yamaha also built the Virago's in a 700cc version. but these 1100's are the ones to get as the power is substantially greater. The canine dog setup has a restraint system utilizing full body harness that attaches to seat belt inside car. Windshield part of sidecar is lockable and 'clamshells' open (pivots forward) for easy loading and unloading of people or pets. Also has a front restraint/attachment for smaller dogs as well. My dog Duke (shown) is a 92 lb. black lab and he has plenty of room. so even a larger dog could ride in this car. Side car also has matching red vinyl snap on tonneau cover that completely covers the open compartment area when not in use. but the full enclosure TOP canopy portion & overhead bar for total rain protection (while riding) are missing. Side car has it's own switchable headlight (low mounted). an interior light. nbsp;as well as folding side step for easy people ingress/egress. Side car is also vented on bottom for better airflow and comfort of passenger. Rear storage provided by luggage racks on both the bike & side car. In addition to all this there are two leather side bags mounted on bike for additional storage while riding. and these are in great shape too. You can pack a lot of stuff on to and inside of this rig. Please look at photos carefully because what you see is what you get. All lights. gauges. etc. work excellent & all blinkers work on both the bike & side car. Choke works excellent and bike runs extremely well at all RPM's. Battery appears to be almost new. Issues: Some areas of the black fiberglass gel coat (on side car only) is beginning to crack but it's not bad. Still looks very nice with all pin striping to match the bike. Windshield has a few very small cracks at base. Red vinyl seat in side car has a few small cracks. I'm not sure but I believe high beam on headlight is not working. Low beam works just fine. or it's possible that high beam is working and low beam doesn't work? Regardless. you only get one beam strength to headlight but it seems more than adequate while riding at night. especially with side car's low mounted headlight to supplement. Rear tire has maybe a few thousand miles of tread left on it. COMES WITH EXTRAS included in photos. Dog harness & seat cushion for your dog.
